Government Funding For Parents and Payment Structure

At Clovel our main priority is to ensure that as many young children as possible have access to our unique high quality early learning program, Thus we always try to set our fees so that the viability of the centres are ensured while affordability for families is still achievable.

Child Care Benefit

Clovel is registered for Child Care Benefit (CCB) which is a funding scheme provided by the Australian Government for families who attend accredited childcare services. This system is administered by the centre on behalf of the Australian Government and ensures the families only need to pay a gap fee.

Child Care Rebate

The Child Care Rebate is an additional payment to the CCB, provided by the Australian Government, which helps families cover the out-of-pocket costs of child care.  It is not income tested and covers up to 50 per cent of out-of-pocket child care costs, up to $7,500 per child, per year.  Out-of-pocket child care costs are calculated after deducting any Child Care Benefit payments that are received.  Depending on how each family claims their CCR, this system can be administered by the centre on behalf of the Australian Government and ensures the families only need to pay a gap fee.
